The Center for Assistive Technology’s Collection of Assistive Technology is housed inside the Spenciner Curriculum Materials Center. As a partner of the Maine CITE program, the Center for Assistive Technology and its collection serve as a resource offered free to UMF students, faculty, and staff, and to individuals with disabilities and their families. We also serve as a resource to professionals in the community.
The Assistive Technology Collection provides a place to view assistive technology (AT) devices, to receive instruction in the use and evaluation of the equipment, and to obtain information about AT in general. Many of the items may be signed out for use at home or in a school or therapeutic setting. For a complete listing of our items visit at4maine.org and search the University of Maine at Farmington or click on the link below.
