The Spenciner Curriculum Materials Center follows many of the same policies as Mantor Library, since the administration of the Center is run by library staff. As such, many of the following policies contain language specific to Mantor Library. In each case, this language applies to the Center, as well.

The primary patrons of the Spenciner Curriculum Materials Center are University of Maine at Farmington students, faculty, and staff. Cooperating area teachers, other Maine educators, and those providing service to individuals with disabilities and their families are also invited to borrow from the collections. (more . . .)
Beverage and Food
Please be considerate with food and drink. Use trash and recycling bins, and report spills promptly to library staff.
The Center encourages and welcomes gifts from University of Maine at Farmington affiliates and the general public. Gifts will be added to the collection providing they contribute to the learning, teaching and research goals of the University. (more . . .)
When inclement weather forces the cancellation of classes at UMF, the Spenciner Curriculum Materials Center will be closed.
