Welcome to the Emery Community Arts Center!
Named in honor of Ted and Marguerite Emery, arts enthusiasts and long-time Farmington residents, the Emery Community Arts Center is a vibrant space designed to be an ever-changing and multi-purpose arts and performance facility.
The Emery Community Arts Center features multiple gallery / exhibition spaces, a state-of-the-arts performance hall, an outdoors concert / performance area and a large, welcoming lobby greeting / reception area.
Conveniently located on on Academy Street on the downtown University of Maine at Farmington campus, the Emery Community Arts Center is nestled alongside UMF’s Merrill Hall / Nordica Auditorium and Alumni Theater, forming a collaborative, multi-discipline, “Arts District” right on campus.
The Emery Community Arts Center’s mission is to provide a vibrant environment in the greater Franklin area to cultivate various forms of art, music, performance and dance while inspiring members from community and campus through collaborative work in the arts.
