Basic Water Rescue
This course is designed to provide the information and skills necessary to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies. Participants will also be taught how to protect themselves while helping others. Our Basic Water Rescue course meets the State of Maine daycare/childcare provided aquatic licensing requirement.
The 4 hour course is composed of classroom and in water sessions. Eligible participants will receive an American Red Cross Basic Water Rescue certification valid for 3 years.
A minimum of 3 participants is needed to run a course. Classes are scheduled based on interest.
