Wilderness and Remote First Aid
The Wilderness and Remote First Aid course course is ideal for anyone who finds themselves in the outdoors, on a day hike or an overnight trip, where help is more than an hour away.
The Wilderness and Remote First Aid course course provides a foundation of first aid principals and skills that will help participants gain the confidence needed to respond to emergencies and give care in areas that do not have immediate emergency medical services, such as wilderness and remote environments, as well as urban disasters such as earthquakes and hurricanes.
Tuesday – Thursday, August 9-11, 9am – 4pm
A minimum of 6 registered participants is required by Friday, August 5, 2016.
Participants will receive Wilderness and Remote First Aid reference and pocket guides.
The Wilderness and Remote First Aid certification is valid for 2 years.
Participant must hold a current a minimum of an Adult CPR/AED certification and be 14 years old on or before the last session of the course.
