The UMF Fitness & Recreation Center offers a number of fun, activity-based programs for children, throughout the year: after school programs, school vacation programs, and more.
After School Program
Our After School Program introduces school-aged children to a wide variety of fun activities and games.
Our aim is to offer a structured program to ensure that children receive a diverse experience active and interactive experiences but also allow time for free choice, open swim and open gym activities. During our pool times on Mondays and Thursdays we keep the participants active and energized with pool games.
Each month an updated After School Program calendar of events keeps parents up to date on the variety of activities we offer their children. Upon registration, parents can also join a closed Facebook group to follow activities, chat with other parents and keep up on upcoming events.
Cradles & Crayons Program
Cradles & Crayons is our supervised on-site daycare program designed for children 6 weeks to pre-kindergarten.
In this program, young children have fun playing games, reading stories, exercising and making new friends while their parent uses the hour for their own exercise programs.
