As of February 2018 we are not accepting new students into the ABA series.

The Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis is designed for practicing special educators interested in pursuing opportunities in settings where she or he may need to practice behavior analysis methods.

Completion of this certificate requires the following four UMF courses:

  • SED 525 Basic Principles of Applied Behavior Analysis
  • SED 526 Behavior Analysis and the Scientific Assessment of Learning
  • SED 527 Applying Behavior Analysis: Methods of instruction and behavioral support
  • SED 528 Autism Spectrum Disorders: Diagnosis, intervention, systems support, and ethical considerations
