UMF is pleased to announce its third annual Nature Based Education Institute, an innovative professional development opportunity for educators and administrators interested in implementing or expanding upon nature-based programming in their classrooms.

  • Friday Evening Public Lecture – no additional charge; donations accepted
  • Friday Dorm Room with Linens $45.00
  • Saturday Conference (includes snacks, lunch, and certificate of attendance/contact hours)
    • Current student/retired educator $35.00
    • University of Maine at Farmington Alumni $60.00
    • Regular Rate $85.00
    • Workshop Presenters (Waived for up to two (2) presenters – presenters over two will be charged the applicable rate above)
  • Saturday Dorm Room with Linens $45.00
  • Saturday Poplar Hut Hike/Overnight Experience (includes dinner, evening activities, overnight accommodations, Sunday breakfast, and Sunday morning activities) $60.00
  • Sunday morning post-conference activities – no additional charge
