UMF Senior Creates “Happy” Video That Rocks the Campus
Abe Turcotte, soon-to-graduate UMF senior, created, filmed and produced a video featuring Pharell Williams’ “Happy” that has rocked the campus and social media alike. Featuring UMF students, faculty and staff, the video was posted on the University’s Facebook page where over 60,000 people have seen it, to date. According to the Sun Journal, the feel-good video was created by Turcotte as his capstone project while working as a work initiative student. He is majoring in UMF’s Outdoor Recreation Business Administration Program and saw the chance to work with the University’s Marketing Department as a great opportunity to get experience that meshed with his major. 92 Moose and WJBQ 97.9 radio stations featured Turcotte on air to share his creative experience with their listening audience.
