Study Away Fair

Learn about the various study away opportunities available to UMF students: Study/Intern Abroad, National Student Exchange, Student Teach Abroad and Short-Term Faculty Led Travel Courses! Talk with recent student participants, visiting foreign exchange students and study abroad provider company representatives. Begin planning your study away experience early!

Application Deadline for George J. Mitchell Peace Scholarship to Ireland

All application materials must be received by the Chair of the George Mitchell Peace Scholarship Committee at the address below no later than February 2, 2018.  Applications submitted after the deadline cannot be considered.  Electronic applications will be accepted. All electronic application materials, including reference letters, must have handwritten signatures and be e-mailed in PDF format to the committee chair.

Mandatory attendance for this meeting where you will officially accept your placement offer by completing acceptance forms and review required NSE Pre-Departure materials.

Order Deadline for Study Abroad/International Commencement Sash

The Office of Global Education sponsors the study abroad/international sash program for graduation ceremonies. Worn by students, faculty and staff, these satin sashes are designed in the flag colors of the host country in which a student has studied or in which a faculty/staff member has participated in a formal exchange program or led a travel course. Sashes also signify the home country of international students, faculty and staff. Sample sashes may be viewed in the Office of Global Education.

Submit order and payment to Office of Global Education, 105 Fusion Space, 117 South Street, Farmington ME 04938.
