What is OneSearch?
OneSearch is a quick, easy way to search multiple types of sources at the same time. Where before, you had to search newspapers, articles, and books separately (using the catalog and databases), OneSearch lets you find information in almost all library resources–all at once! It’s a great place to start your research at UMF.
Once you’ve started a search, you can limit your results by using the options on the left hand side of the screen. (For example, you can search only books, or ebooks, or journals, etc.)
Please note that OneSearch does not completely cover all information in all the library’s databases. To do a comprehensive search, you should still search each database individually. If you have questions about this, please contact a librarian.
