Pay Level III

STATEMENT OF THE JOB:

Employee performs various technical tasks related to operations of Computer Center. Employee works with limited supervision and requires some use of independent judgment and initiative. Familiarity with PC, Apple and/or IBM mainframe is required.

DUTIES:

1) Works during peak hours after the Microcomputer Operations Assistant leaves the Computer Center.

2) Supervises other Help Desk staff (hereafter this refers to staff classified as Computer Assistant I)

3) Trains Help Desk staff, under the supervision of the Microcomputer Operations Assistant.

4) Conducts software seminars, under the supervision of the Microcomputer Operations Assistant.

5) Assists the Microcomputer Operations Assistant with Help Desk staff evaluations.

6) Assists the Microcomputer Operations Assistant with recording attendance.

6) Completes and delegates special projects by the professional staff and the Microcomputer Operations Assistant.
