Summer Job Lists 2019
This Job List is for Summer 2019, which runs from May 12, 2019 – August 31, 2019
If you have been offered a Summer University Work Study award for the term you may apply to any of the UWS specific jobs on the first list below.
- If your financial aid award does NOT indicate a Summer University Work-study award, or you did not apply for financial aid, you may apply ONLY for the Student Work Initiative Program jobs, which are listed in Gray. Please note that a minimum G.P.A. of 2.75 is required, you must be a matriculated UMF student, and enrolled at least half-time in Summer and/or Fall 2018 to participate in the Work Initiative Program.
- Students are generally permitted to hold only one campus job at a time. Students wishing to work more than one job must obtain prior approval from the Financial Aid Office located at the Merrill Center Student Services Center in Merrill Hall.
- Note: This list only includes jobs that are funded through the University Work-study Program and/or the Work Initiative Program. Some departments on campus may offer jobs that are not listed, and are funded through other avenues. These job opportunities are variable, but nevertheless are a helpful alternative. Contact Merrill Center for further guidance.
How to apply:
To express interest in a position, contact the supervisor for the listed position. Upon being hired, you will need to pick up, fill out, and return a work authorization form to Merrill Ctr. Student Services, along with any other needed hiring documents. You should always prepare a resume and expect that an interview will be a part of the hiring process.
