The Partnership for Civic Advancement manages the Outdoor Recreation Business Administration internship program in collaboration with ORBA faculty and works with the Director of the Alpine Ops program as well.

Staff of the Partnership will work closely with you, your faculty advisor, and the business or organization sponsoring your internship to help ensure that:U

  • you are able to obtain an internship in your area of interest to fulfill your internship requirement
  • you are prepared for your internship experience before it begins, and
  • your internship is a successful learning experience for you that will help prepare you for your future career.

Please note that participation in an Internship Orientation and Training Session conducted by the Partnership is mandatory for all ORBA and Alpine Ops majors PRIOR to participating in an internship.  ORBA and Alpine Ops students and faculty will be notified in advance as to when these orientations are scheduled.

The internships listed below meet the criteria for the internship component required for all Outdoor Recreation and Business majors and students seeking the Alpine Operations Certification.  Looking for something different?  Please contact your faculty member and the Partnership to discuss other possible internship options in which you are interested.  We can help ensure the internship of your choice meets the required criteria for your major or certificate.

Check this website frequently as new internships opportunities are added as they are received – or “Like” us on Facebook to receive updates as opportunities are listed.
