Description of the Internship:
The Mercer Community Club is a non-profit organization that strives to bring cultural events and a variety of healthy activities to people of all ages in Mercer and the surrounding communities.  The intern selected as the After School Program Activity Leader will assist with the After School program, which serves children aged 6 to 12.

The intern will assist in developing and managing physical activities for the children, both indoors and outside, for one afternoon each week during both semesters.  The position is for one afternoon a week (either Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday) from mid- to late September to April.  It is preferable that the intern work the same day of the week throughout their internship.  The program sometimes includes a drama or music project, depending upon the interests and skills of the selected intern.
