|The Phillips Public Library is a non-profit, private corporation library. Our treasurer is a volunteer position. This position has been held by the same individual for six (6) years, who would like to retire. The library maintains a board of five (5) directors, a treasurer, and a clerk. The Library has two paid employees, one full-time librarian and an assistant who works two hours per week. All other individuals are volunteers.
The Library is seeking a student intern to fill the position of treasurer. It is anticipated the intern will work 6-8 hours per week. If necessary, the Library may provide mileage reimbursement.

|The student intern would be responsible for managing the Library’s accounts in Quick Books, paying bills and the payroll. The intern would need to attend board meetings every other month and present a budget update.
If willing and capable, the intern could also submit the annual 990 report.
