|The Pierce House is a residential care facility in a vibrant downtown area, nestled among the lakes and mountains of Western Maine. The facility is a locally operated home for older people that contributes to the cost of care for each resident and provides assistance with activities of daily living and the management of health care needs in an environment that fosters privacy, independence, and dignity.
We offer gracious living in a homelike atmosphere with sixteen private rooms with baths, a large heated porch overlooking Main Street, two living rooms, an activities room, a dining room, a welcoming kitchen, a spacious lawn, a patio, and gardens.
The Pierce House is seeking a student intern each semester to serve as an Elder Care Assistant. It is estimated the intern would work approximately 10 hours per week.
